The Generator Buildathon @Babson College
Directions
Come out to Babson College for the Babson Generator Buildathon. This 12-hour session is designed for engineers, researchers, and technical founders to move beyond theory and ship functional software that addresses entrepreneurial challenges.

The Mission
This buildathon focuses on the intersection of generative AI and entrepreneurship. We are looking for builders who can leverage the latest foundation models to create tools that solve real-world business problems, optimize workflows, or enable new forms of commercial innovation. In line with the Homebrew Computer Club tradition, we prioritize code over slides and working demos over product pitches.
Technical Landscape
Participants will have access to the most recent advancements in the AI ecosystem to accelerate their builds. We encourage the integration of frontier technologies such as:
- GPT 5.3 Codex: High-performance coding for autonomous agents.
- Gemini 3 Deep Think: Advanced reasoning for complex problem-solving.
- WebMCP API: Standardized protocols for agentic web interaction.
- Claude Opus 4.6: Massive context windows for parallel task coordination.
